Product Return and Refund Policy

Crabby Gear, L.L.C. values our relationship with you. If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, within 30 days of shipment, you can either return your order for a refund, or exchange it for something else. Returned or exchanged products must be in the condition you received them, be accompanied by an RMA, and be in the original packaging. 

Special guarantees for certain Crabby Gear L.L.C. products were only offered to backers on Kickstarter.com. These special guarantees do not apply to products purchased on our website www.crabbygear.com. Please read this Product Return and Refund Policy completely to understand the guarantees associated with products purchased on www.crabbygear.com.

To make a return:

1. Submit a request for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) by emailing support@crabbygear.com.  Please include your order number, whether you are requesting a refund or an exchange, the items on your order that you are returning, and the reason that you would like a refund or exchange. Your request will be reviewed by a Customer Support Agent who will email you the RMA once it is issued.

2. Send the original item and a copy of the RMA to:

3. That's it. Wait for a refund to be issued.

Important Note: We process returns separately from original purchase fulfillment, do not send your returned item back to the address from which it came.

Outside the US: Ship goods prepaid, by insured ground shipping. To avoid unnecessary delays, please write "US Goods returning" on the outside of the package.

Product Returns

All returned products must be returned in the original packaging, including all items originally packaged with the product (documentation, warranty, accessories, etc). Products must be well packed in order to protect against loss or damage.

Please report any damaged or missing items within seven (7) days of delivery by emailing support@crabbygear.com.

Shipping

We will pay for shipping ONLY if the product is being returned due to an error in processing or shipping, or the product is defective. Otherwise, you are responsible for paying the shipping charges for any items returned or exchanged. You are also responsible for all duties and taxes that may be assessed on a shipment.

When shipping products back to us, retain a copy of the tracking number from the shipping carrier for your records, so you can track the shipment. Products returned more than thirty (30) days from the shipping date will not be refunded or returned to you. We recommend that you insure the shipment against loss or damage. We are not responsible for returns that never arrive at our processing center.

You must accept delivery on any shipped item. If you refuse to accept delivery for any reason, you will still be liable for all shipping fees, brokerage charges and duty payable on the original order and on any products returned to us from the original order. You are also responsible for all transportation and shipping fees on orders that are refused, returned to sender or undeliverable by our carrier.

Restocking Fee

A restocking fee may be charged for products returned that have been damaged by improper packing, or which do not include all components (manuals, accessories, original packaging, etc.). Restocking requirements and fees may vary by type of product.

Refunds

Any refunds issued will be for the purchase price of the returned item(s), including any applicable taxes. Shipping and handling charges will only be refunded if there is an error in processing or shipping, or the product is defective.

A refund will not be given until the item is received and inspected (this can take up to 72 hours) and the refund will be issued within an additional seven days. You will receive an email confirmation when your return is completed. Depending on your financial institution, it may take an additional 2-10 business days for the credit to post to your account.

For refunds on products paid for by credit card or debit card, a refund will be issued to the credit / debit card used for the original purchase.

If you made an error in the checkout process, please notify support@crabbygear.com within 24 hours.
